What this test is about
Work through 12 realistic dating and talking-stage scenarios — the too-fast declarations, the 'jokes' that aren't jokes, the phone-checking, the friend-isolating. Each answer scores how clearly you read the sign, and your total lands in one of four radar bands.
What's free, and what's deeper
Free: Your radar band and the first two sections of your report — how you read people, and what you catch well.
Go deeper: The Deep Dive ($2.99) unlocks your blind spots, how your radar setting shapes your relationships, and a practical section on sharpening it.

Frequently asked questions
What counts as a red flag in early dating?
The scenarios in this test cover the classics: love-bombing pace, put-downs dressed as jokes, monitoring your phone or location, quietly cutting you off from friends, emotional blackmail, and rules that only apply to you. One awkward moment isn't a pattern — a red flag is a behaviour that repeats and always seems to benefit the same person.
How do I know if I'm ignoring red flags?
The honest test is your own explanations: if you keep making excuses for the same kind of behaviour ('he's just stressed', 'she didn't mean it like that') while feeling worse each month, your radar is probably on 'benefit of the doubt'. This quiz measures exactly that tendency across 12 scenarios — and the deep report's blind-spots section names the excuse pattern your answers use most.
Is one red flag enough to end things?
Not automatically — context matters, and people can hear feedback and change. What matters is the response when you name it: someone who gets curious and adjusts is showing you green; someone who mocks you for noticing is showing you another flag. The test is about reading behaviour early, while choices are still cheap — not about issuing verdicts on anyone.
