What this test is about

Answer 12 questions about where your energy actually comes from and where it goes: full days of people, quiet weekends, group chats, being the centre of attention. Each answer scores 0–3 points; your total maps to an I–E level from 1 to 10.

What's free, and what's deeper

Free: Your I or E level and the first two sections of your report — the level reading and the evidence from your answers.

Go deeper: The Deep Dive ($2.99) unlocks your energy mechanics — what charges you, what drains you, and the border crossings in between — plus a weekly energy plan built around your level instead of against it.

Frequently asked questions

What does 'I person' and 'E person' mean?

It's the popular shorthand — from the MBTI's I and E — for where your energy comes from. I-leaning people recharge in quiet and spend energy in company; E-leaning people do it the other way round. This test turns that one letter into a 1–10 scale, because most people aren't a pure type — they're a position, and it can shift with the week they're having.

What if I land in the middle?

Then you got one of the most recognisable results: around Level 5 sits The Ambivert, and Level 6 is The Mood-Based Switch — people who genuinely run both ways depending on the day, the group and the sleep they got. The middle of this scale isn't 'undecided'; it's its own style, with its own report reading and its own energy plan.

Can my I/E level change over time?

Your deep preference tends to be stable, but the level your answers produce is a snapshot of your current season — new job, new city, new baby, new relationship can all move you a level or two either way. Retaking it in a different season and comparing results is half the fun; the report reads your level as you are now, not as a life sentence.
